Didn't he finish as runner up for Indiana Mr. Basketball? Yeah, but it wasn't close against Zeller. I think he ended up second all-time in scoring for Warsaw which has some good basketball tradition with two previous Mr. Basketball winners (and Rick Fox) and a championship in the pre-class tournament.

Nic Moore, playing for Illinois State, played for my high school so I'm pulling for them to make it. He's pretty damn impressive for a 5' 7"ish freshman PG. If he were a little taller he would've gotten a lot more offers.

Purdue and IU both have the 6th seed (at worst) locked.

Well, Indiana is locked in at the 5 seed now at least. No, but IU does have the league lead in FT attempts locked in. Nope, by my calculations, Michigan and Wisconsin hold 2, 3, and 4 team tiebreakers over them, while Indiana has 2, 3, and 4 team tiebreakers over Purdue. They're tied in the standings and play each other Sunday.

Obviously bad officiating. 18-13 foul differential? 9 FT for PSU and 19 for Purdue???? Just wanted to pretend to be a PU or Illini fan for a bit. Sunday will be a hell of a game. Do you live in a trailer home, sir? If so you can stop pretending. You're a Hoosier fan. What? Lighten up. According to some around here IU only wins due to officials. I'm just playing. Sunday will be good. Purdue is playing their best ball of the year. If we win, we'll be ranked in the last poll of the regular season.

Well, we got thumped by them on the road this year and beat them at Mackey last year on a buzzer beater so... yeah... that wouldn't shock me. If we lose tonight and beat you Sunday you would still get the #5 seed.

See, I told you guys we would win. =D> Lunardi says IU is now locked in as at least a 4 seed for the NCAA tourney and could push their way into a 3 seed. \:D/ I'm a little surprised. I figured that if they lost to Purdue and either Nebraska/Penn State that they'd probably slip to a 5. I think to have a good shot at a 3 they'd have to beat Purdue and make it to Saturday of the BTT. That would give them a good opportunity to steal a 3 seed from whichever team slips right above them. It looks like the only way for them to get a bye in the BTT now is taking it away from Ohio State if they lose their last two games, which isn't all that likely. Otherwise it would be 5th seed if they beat Purdue and 6th seed if they don't. Yeah. I went ahead and got tickets for the session that includes the 5/12 game on Thursday. And I have tickets to all of Friday's games. I've never been to the BTT before so I am looking forward to it. Why do you want to watch Purdue play Thursday? :-"
