  1. It's hard for me to put into words how I feel about this. I have nothing but hatred for this organization. I don't care if they don't include him at the wrigley thing. But to say he owes anybody anything is absurd.
  2. Thibs will be a part of USA basketball this summer as will melo.
  3. The bulls were nearly a 50-win with an obvious glaring need for a scorer. Without Rose, id have to think the Bulls would be a top destination for Melo. With Rose, the same. If im melo id like to play with an attaching guard rather than Josh Smith (a ball stopper) and Ray Felton (an attacking guard who is awful) who get up a combined amount of shots in excess of D Rose. And to Davell, I think Rose would get a max, assuming he would clear the medicals. Back to back injuries obviously look bad, but he was arguably the best guard in the league prior to his injuries. The first injury was successfully repaired and rehabbed, and physically he looked strong when he came back. His game was off, but he looked like the old d rose at least physically. The replaced meniscus is not a terribly bad injury. He is expected to not lose any ability from that injury according to doctors and experts. The dude was an absolute beast before these injuries. Even if hes only 90% of his former self he is absolutely a max player. You will be surprised who gets maxes. Lots of guys have had injuries like rose’s and come back strong. Its not just Roy and Gil Arenas. Hes also still very young.
  4. We have one of the best guards in the league in a suit.
  5. Especially when you have guys like terry stotts doing a good job after he was tied in Milwaukee for not taking a shitty team from C-B. Vogel is a good coach who has gotten more out of IND than you'd expect going back to the all white pacers teams he started with.
  6. They just played wild. Boozer and Dunleavy at least know where to be on offense and Dunleavy actually moves around. Instead we are dribbling out possessions and settling for taj Gibson contested spinning hooks or Noah trying to do too much. Don't you realize how much I need this thibs !!
  7. Glad there are 3 refs to miss the only action going on the court during that tip.
  8. I'm not gonna pile on Noah for the turnovers. They are running an offense through a guy who is not skilled with the ball. Thibs needs to make changes. They need to win this series I need it. Don't they understand I don't have anything else?
  9. Very tough to take. Man they blew that game. There were a lot of calls both for and against but that [expletive] tie up at the end of regulation was a horrendous call. The bulls didn't deserve to win but they should have had ball and a chance to win at true end of regulation. Thibs is great. But you have Booz and Dunleavy on the bench for the last half of the forth when converting just a couple of possessions gives you the game. This team needs some offense and those two guys are the only weapons to space the floor. He stuck with a group that couldn't get a basket. And they didn't seem to run anything offensively. We had a fee possessions get bailed out by fouls or bad ball offensive rebounds. They stopped attacking and they stopped moving the ball productively. It's hard for me to ignore just how bad they played that last five minutes. It'd be one thing if Washington roared back but they didn't. All in all I felt like we got away with a lot defensively. We got bailed out with calls a number of times. The rotations were off at the end and Thibs needs to get over his crunch time group. They needed offense and they left the only guys that should be relied upon on the bench. Very frustrating. I do not at all think this is over. Washington does not have a strong home court. We absolutely can go over there and win 2. We shouldn't be in this position but I'm still very hopeful.
  10. My mistake. I figured Sloan was pretty much GM a la Pop.
  11. Wow. That was the worst final possession. Durant passed to Ibaka at one point and Perkins gets the bucket. Combine that with the insane KD 4pt play and Memphis just basically got very unlucky.
  12. That's just insane.
  13. Russell Westbrook is a beast.
  14. So what is the value of this quote here? I guess if your going to be a troll may as well buy in all the way. Im sorry newusername. I just would be less worked up about a dirty hit in a sport where you are kinda allowed to throw haymakers at each other until somebody goes down.
  15. I hadnt heard about the Jazz repay of the favor but isnt this like a whole different Jazz front office than back in the Sloan era.
  16. Didn't I read somewhere that if Noah got DPOY some incentive would push the Bulls over the luxury tax? I think they can't get to the tax anymore because someone got claimed, Erik Murphy?, they won't get to the tax even if Noah got DPOY and/or if Taj got 6th man of the year (I think that was the other one that could push them?) Yes I saw it explained somewhere but garpax flurry of non-impact moves at the end of the season was actually them being a 2nd degree blackbelt on the CBA.
  17. I dont enjoy hockey or care about the blackhawks. But if i did id buy and wear that shirt. Its a goon sport if you are gonna buy in buy all the way in.
  18. I think overreactions abound after game 1. TOR, HOU and CHI are all now 1:1.5 underdogs to win the series and LAC/IND are now only 1.75:1 favorites. First off LAC lost a tight game in which BG basically didn’t play. LAC is flat out the better team with a huge interior advantage. They will win that series easily. While IND is lost out there, I still expect them to beat a horrible team like ATL w/o Horford. I expect at least 2/3 of TOR/HOU/CHI to win their series as well, potentially all three. McHale needs to open his rotation and get some fouls from a big other than Asik. Asik needs to play more. I don’t expect Aldridge to put up Wilt numbers the whole series. They got everything they can get out of Lilliard and Aldridge and won by 2 in an OT game that HOU coulda won at the line. Toronto / Nets could easily go either way. And I still believe in the Bulls over Wash.
  19. I think Washington just played really well for a quarter and a half. I'm not in a panic. It's a long series and whatever was happening that let miller beat us can get fixed.
  20. We are contending for a title now! I think we should add melo if possible. That said he's a bad contract eventually. If we are talkin. About freeing up as much money as we are and moving assets to do it, aren't there other guys out there? Maybe not as good as melo but younger and less of a ball stopper.
  21. At some point maybe a 3rd party might step in and just say enough. Like a Rickett's uncle or something. Or potentially Joe might say enough to his jackass kids for destroying the family name. Like he will hear somebody say "leave me out rickettsed in the middle of nowhere" and decide to assume control of the team fire theo and build a winner.
  22. Ben wallace should do a celebrity 7th inning.
  23. Same chance as Ben Wallace making the HOF. Come on dawg. Its an honest question.
  24. Question for you stats wizzes! If Baez had gone north with the cubs to start the season and played shortstop (moving Castro to 2nd) and performed at a 2001 Barry Bonds level offensively, would this year's Cubs team probably make the playoffs?
