    Helton is in God Mode against us right now. And some of their average hitters are looking like all-stars against us. This has been an ugly 4 days.

    I love how we work the bases loaded, only to feeble groundout or K with our big hitters. Our RISP avg numbers are brutal.

    Those 10 games against eachother, as well as 6 and 9 respectively against the Dodgers are absolutely huge for us. Cubs need to salvage this trip, then get back on track at Wrigley. They have a great opportunity to blitz to the top of the Wild Card race.

    Well....SF lost. I guess that's the only silver lining I can think of today. Cubs need to win tommorow and salvage this trip. COL and SF still play eachother 11 times, and have to face LA numerous times also, so now would be a great time for a run when they get back to Wrigley. Especially with Philly struggling.

    He doesn't have any good pitches besides the fastball. He's very raw and should be getting innings in the minors, but the Cubs are idiots and think he's best suited pitching once every few days, and that he'll somehow magically figure things out. You're right. He's useless here. A bunch of four seemers to major league hitters is just bad business. His slider has a weak break and he can never utilize it for an out pitch against anyone.
