    Iowa was postponed today. Eddy Martinez with a 2-RBI double in the first for South Bend. He's now 2-3 with a double, a steal, two walks, and no strikeouts since I tore him apart after seeing him on Thursday.

    That Markey news stinks. I was hopeful that he would have another good year. He was becoming interesting once I heard his velo was up in the mid-90s last year. I wonder what it's been at this year. He's certainly been much, much less effective. Oh well.

    Remember when Randal Grichuk was supposedly better than Kris Bryant? That was fun. Or how about when Cardinals fans thought their rotation was better than the Cubs' before this season started?

    Hannemann is 3-4 with a BB and a SB. He's now at .271/.340/.494 on the year. His K% is at 13.8% and he's 10/10 on SB attempts. Oh and Chesny Young is 4-5 tonight.

    Welp, his low K-rate is an issue no more. He is at 27.0 K/9 as he strikes out the first batter of his season.

    ....how many players in the league are currently playing at a 3-win pace? I really want us to have like 20-25% of them. Not quite that much. It's king of hard to narrow it down exactly, since some guys have played either fewer or more games than the Cubs, and some starting pitchers have already made 5 starts, while some are at 4. But, there are 156 players that have been worth at least 0.5 fWAR so far. 14 are Cubs.
