  1. Nice, Addi. Hopefully we can drop this "He can't hit lefties" idea soon.
  2. obviously not an exclusive list. you're telling me KB wouldn't get it done? The Yankees don't want him because he can't hit good pitching and would never survive in the AL East.
  3. Brian Cashman thinking that Andrew Miller is worth Addison Russell exemplifies why he is in a situation where he has to sell Andrew Miller.
  4. Ah, he reverted back to Jaxon. Couldn't find the zone all inning, up until a three-run homer to break up the no-no.
  5. Jaxon is through 6 with a no-no! He's earning our money today, by helping our playoff positioning.
  6. Was just coming to post about this. I should have waited a minute so we could have had our third simultaneous carbon-copy post this year.
  7. Without looking, I bet you guys can never guess who is no-hitting the Giants in the 6th inning right now.
  8. Meh. Bad day from the offense. Lackey sucked early. But he wasn't pre-All Star uber-horrible. The three starters in this series fared well -- didn't walk many, mostly kept the ball in the park. This loss was like one of our losses from earlier in the year, where I just don't care too much. The sense of impending doom isn't hanging over this team anymore. The Arrieta start is the one I'm really anxious about, though.
  9. seriously...starting an inning past the 100 mark? wtf? Especially when he sucks today and is getting squared up. I know he settled in the last few innings. But let him go take a rest. We were down two runs already, and it's not like this game makes or breaks our season.
  10. Why in the hell was Lackey even still pitching?
  11. This is one of those arbitrary endpoint things with a dose of small sample size. We've faced quite a few really good pitchers in a short period, a period where we had a number of guys injured and a bunch of young kids taking the majority of our ABs. It's not an actual thing. We'll be fine. Also, Hamels hasn't really pitched like a TOR arm this year, so he doesn't even really fit.
  12. Or not. Keep serving balls up for them instead.
  13. Would have liked Javy against the lefty there.
