  1. With the winning streak, what we are since the All-Star break?
  2. Did we take a poll that I missed? For the record, I don't support Daniel Murphy's viewpoint. ETA: I also absolutely believe Cubs players have come on this board. Not posting, but absolutely reading.
  3. 1. Not everyone dislikes him. The Cubs players seem to love him. 2. There is no thinking. He has made a huge difference.
  4. Time to get Vic in there for Rizzo, Happ for Murphy, etc.
  5. He now has more dongs than Addison Russell.
  6. I feel like Billy thought the only well struck ball of the inning should not go for an out.
  7. We aren't exactly hitting this guy hard.........yet. Let's get one to the outfield.
  8. They are paying him $21 million this season and even more next season. No reason to not run him out there, since he's going to be part of the rotation next season. He’s washed up, you can trot his ass out there in the spring but there’s no reason to assume he is part of the rotation next year Kudos to the Reds if they have the payroll to not start him and just eat that money. And if they hope to somehow trade him and eat less money, then you are going to want to hope he somehow has a good start or two in the last month.

  10. I’m starting to think it sucks that he’s going to be on our roster next season.
  11. I would like to see him continued to be lowered in the order until he's ninth.
  12. With so many games in a row, and with Zobrist having played every day for the past several games to help get the offense started, I wouldn't mind them taking him out right now to give him a break and hope five runs is enough.
  13. I was thinking about this the other day. Without any research -- which is never good -- it feels like he does awesome trading over signing free agents. There are exceptions on both (Lester was a great signing and Q hasn't been a great trade), but it seems like he excels that way.
  14. It for sure helped to get a second hitting pitcher out of the lineup and replace him with one of the best hitters in the league. It's going to help even more when KB is back.
  15. Good God, what if Schwarber starts donging all over the place again?
  16. I really want Q to be good and to like him, but he does a lot of stuff to make it difficult.
  17. OK, Q. Just get out of it only giving up three runs and we got this.
  18. No. 1 rule when wind is blowing out and you have a lead: Don't walk guys.
  19. The problem is we'll still have to put garbage like Schwarber, Contreras, Happ, Bote, Almora (vs lefties), etc. in the final 3 spots. Makes me want to puke. Yeah, true. That ain't too shabby, either. Good God imagine Willy turning into late July 2017, Willy.
  20. I want everyone to stay healthy until KB comes back, because Murphy, Zobrist, KB, Rizzo and Baez in the top five of our lineup is just unreal.
  21. Health? His knee injury was brutal I would get that more had it been a Britton thing, where he had come back and still wasn't showing any real sign of being himself. But Murphy had already started to round into form.
