    very ironic considering lastella will take his spot. also, the love for lastella coming back is fairly surprising considering 90 percent of posters hated him for much of his tenure with the cubs. I feel like it's more that people rather have him than Cogs. Might be reading it wrong though.

    You are the absolute worst. You really feel good about playing these guys in October? It's hard to know. We can lose or beat anyone during five or six days in October.

    The only thing I'm sad about is that we don't see the machine-like offense every night where pitchers needed 70 pitches to get through 4 1/3. But that's tough to keep up. It was fun, though.

    Either way it's really more on Bryant and Willson. On this night they just happened to really choke bad. Eh He's really good against righties, but yeah all you need is Bryant or Willson to put the ball in play and they didn't. Very annoying Yeah, the Mets were letting the Cubs score with any grounder by Bryant. Just needed to make some contact. But the other dude gets paid too, I guess.
