Yay we won a series against the craptastic Pirates, can't complain about tying a series with the best team in baseball. But newsflash, we're still a .500 baseball team. Everyone on this team with the exception of Bobby Scales and Randy Wells and probably Micah Hoffpauir is underachieving this season. Look at all of our batting averages. Horrific. I don't care if we're missing Aramis. It's a huge loss but we have guys capable of picking up the slack for his absence and they're not doing so. Maybe Hendry should be the one to go. Everyone saw what a horrific offseason we had but I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. Now that our team is playing like it is my blame goes to him for ruining a solid bullpen from last year and bringing in a worthless RF for 30 million dollars and trading our MVP from last season to do so. Also he traded Jose Ceda for worthless Kevin Gregg. WTF? And now to Lou, the home plate umpire was brutal as the game wore on last night. And what did Lou do? Just sat there. He doesn't give a [expletive] about managing anymore. I think this will be his last season. He'll probably quit at the end of the year when the Cubs finish 3rd with an 80-82 record. Just look at tonight's forfeit lineup against Derek Lowe for more prove that he could care less about this team. Remember, Lou was the one who chased away relievers such as Michael Wuertz and Scott Eyre who are both having okay seasons with their new respective teams. Lou is also the one that forced Hendry to make all these moves to get more left-handed for the upcoming playoffs. Looks like we will never see how this works out as we won't be going to the playoffs with this new team. Thanks for everything Lou.
