Ian Happ says hello. My happiest part of this Cubs season is when we trade Happ, Russell and Almora for a few bags of balls. Almora yes, I’d take used balls for but keep Happ and Russell if they can’t bring back anything.

The mayor of DC just declared a state of emergency for the DC region. But game is still on currently. Gotta make sure the Cubs drag their tired carcasses to Washington to play a game in a hurricane. Weather channel now has the center of the storm not hitting N.Carolina until Friday AM. So, it's looking likelier (not definite) that they'll play this game in DC on Thursday afternoon. horsefeathers. I was actually kinda hopeful thinking about the lineup vs a RHP the next two games even though we historically struggle vs Anderson. Now it's going to include either Almora or Russell Could still get Bote and Happ in and sit those two idiots

What reliever should have been used? An overused Cishek that early? Maybe an underused Strop that early? What reliever makes you ooze confidence? For one out. Chavez. Yeah and he should’ve been in to face Kratz when Lester said his back hurt. That was really dumb to let Lester try and pitch through it.
