  1. real hate the bunt when the next guy just ends up walking.
  2. All that fretting and we did a double steal.
  3. Quintana throwing 88-92. Why are they fouling off so many. He shouldn't be fooling anyone with this velocity.
  4. This place is known for it's doom boners.
  5. The mighty O's who sold half their team at the deadline.
  6. I thought we were collecting all the Left-handers.
  7. My all-time favorite player and the reason I became a Cubs fan. Watching him playing in 84 when I caught day games on WGN. I pulled out my album of magazine covers and cards I collected. I was obsessed with his cards as a kid and even have some weird ones from candy boxes or sausage vendors. Truly a legendary player and one of the best 2nd basemen to ever play. May he rest in peace.
  8. With a looming trade deadline, I'd imagine the number of teams they haven't checked in with is smaller than the teams they do check in with.
  9. I bet Arizona is loving the "discount" deal Burnes signed.
  10. The 2nd half of 2015 was amazing because Arrieta was pitching at such a high level that it was a marvel to watch his games.
  11. I was also at Game 5. It was one of the better games that year because it was so pivotal. It was 1st elimination game the Cubs had to play through and turned the momentum back around. You had Lester going 6, and Chapman going 2.2. It had the HR by Bryant and the bobble catch over the first base railing with Ross and Rizzo. Yes it was only 3-2 as a score and would be a bit of a snooze-fest if you viewed as a regular season game, but it was the most important game of that series. Game 6 of the NLCS was probably my favorite. When Rizzo donged all over Kershaw and Kershaw blew up on the mound, I knew the Cubs were going to the WS.
  12. Brasier trying to make this interesting...please don't.
