  3. If you're going to take the delay, why not try to get them to jump offsides first? At worst you get a false start and give them a few extra seconds.

  16. That would mean sunrise around the winter solstice would be around 8 am in Chicago if we recentered a bit. Which I'm ok with, but a ton of people would complain about. Well you can get rid of DST as well... I think the one proposal I read once moved Eastern towards Central and Pacific towards Mountain at one DST day and then stopping that practice as well. Then you've got the sun setting on the East Coast by 3 pm.

  18. Nope He took his first step while bobbling the ball, then took two more while in possession of the ball. That should be a catch. "If a player goes to the ground in the act of catching a pass (with or without contact by an opponent), he must maintain control of the ball after he touches the ground, whether in the field of play or the end zone. If he loses control of the ball, and the ball touches the ground before he regains control, the pass is incomplete. If he regains control prior to the ball touching the ground, the pass is complete." No mention of taking steps the "steps" come into "in the act of catching a pass" After a certain point, the player is no longer in the act.
  19. Romo really takes some stupid sacks.
  20. Becoming? Almost?
  21. Wasn't the claim "as good a chance of winning in Seattle as Detroit"?
  22. Do you mean the spatula, or the knife? Do you have a French press? You can buy one for $10. They're the opposite of fancy
