    No. Burnitz didn't go on contact, and only went toward the plate when he realized Murton was about 20 feet from 3rd base. he was out by 40 feet. ah. thanks. Don't thank him! it's the end of a disappointing baseball season! shoot the messenger!

    While that may be true, is it Federer's fault? There's not much more he can do, since he wins just about every tournament he plays. Well, if he wins 20 slams in the next 6 years, then he's shown he's more dominant. but I'll agree with you that it's rough on him (as if he cared) to penalize him because his career isn't over yet He just turned 24 last month, his career is much closer to the beginning than to the end. Saying that he has reached his peak in performance is a little like saying that Carlos Zambrano has. Granted, tennis players can be great at a younger age normally but they still develop as players after the age of 24. You have to look no further than Andre Agassi for evidence. Huh? agassi isn't an example, he's a freak. If federer has agassi type longetivity and doesn't have a series of injuries, he'll easily wind up the best tennis player in history.

    I'm not too critical on Baker's quotes, but these were pretty bad, despite the fact he's quoting someone else in the 1st bolded one. Wow, I didn't think I'd read anything from him that would actually change my opinion, but this is worse than I thought.

    I do The catching position is a quintillion times more important defensively than all of the other positions combined.

    i'm no big fan of dusty's, but he actually complimented Murton. It's funny because adding that on points out that dusty is lying about liking murton. If his eyes had been opened from the beginning,, he would have played a heck of a lot more

    Sorry but I disagree. It's not like this guy is Barry Bonds or something. he's got what, 55 RBIs? His defense is well below average. He's 3nd in the freaking majors (1st in the NL) in OPS among catchers with more than 200 ABs!!!!!!!!!!!! This is not the offense of a guy who is "ok, at times"
