  1. I can't believe I forgot the game was on tv :(
  2. And see the pitch better and swing later.
  3. Isn't Prior for less than a million if he doesn't play/a million if he plays a pretty decent deal for SD? I didn't want to see him get arb last season, but this seems like a good idea
  4. I think Suggs just tried to kill that guy, he appeared to be going for his throat while he was on the ground
  5. tomlinson was 19th in the AFC in YPC(41 in the league). He played in the weakest defensive division in football. He's had a steep decline over the past two seasons and is now injury prone. I completely agree about Sproles being a main RB. Your example of Alexander is amusing, as I'd compare his 2006 to Lt's 2008. Emmitt smith had an incredibly, inhumanly slow decline. I don't remember the end of Payton's career or the details of Bettis's end (although I know Bettis had a slower decline than LT) He signed his contract 3 years ago, so the guaranteed money should be pretty much paid out. $6.725 next year. Do you pay that much for an aging, below average back with injury issues?
  6. lol yeah right the NFL is a fickle game you think the chargers are going to dump a very good running back who's the face of the franchise because his 5'6" backup had a good game and is now ready to be a feature back carrying the ball 250+ times? get real. If he's expensive and not good? yes.
  7. :beg: let it be the packers for a lot of money
  8. I thought 55 on the colts was actually going to attack the cameraman there.
  9. hahahahaha
  10. fantastic play from the 20 in overtime
  11. there have been more passes thrown away at the feet of blocking running backs today than any game I've ever seen
  12. The HD feed on NBC in Chicago has been stuck on some SD player's head for at least 10 minutes now, flickering between two consecutive frames. Audio still works fine
  13. never call heads!
  14. nice job on freezing the HD feed, NBC
  15. I was thinking about that, too. I wouldn't do it with a 3 point lead, but with 4+? sure
  16. I'm still outraged by the punt earlier that bounced at the 4, went into a couple of arizona players at the 7, and was downed at the 2 without a ref 10 yards away noticing the complete reversal in the ball's direction when it hit two different players in the hands. Worst call ever, but amazing if you believe in some sort of karma
  17. First time I've seen a situation where on the measurement it didn't look like a first down and the ref said it was. wow, was that close
  18. that'll happen when your RB has the arms of a 14 year old
  19. LT isn't close to being the best RB on his team anymore I want Green Bay to sign him that would be wonderful edit: except I think the bears won't compete for the next couple of years, so it shouldn't matter
  20. LT isn't close to being the best RB on his team anymore
  21. The ref who spotted the ball on that punt should be fired now, no reason to wait for the end of the game edit: and it gives Arizona the safety a different incompetent ref cost them earlier And watching a ref try to lift a linebacker off of another he was riding as a horse is great comedy
  22. If that non-call (flagrant holding in the end zone) had happened to the Bears, Sulley would have killed someone.
  23. I can't believe allstate's CEO brought that hair to a BCS game
  24. ok, "an+h" doesn't make sense in American English, but I'll be damned if I'll let someone use that in front of an acronym. Now someone make a joke about how Alabama is blushing in embarrassment.
