  1. We stole Brian Marshall from the Red Sox? Our first pick has a face very similar to Sean's
  2. Looks like we drafted Marshall's brother
  3. There's got to be a better chance he screws up the throw than Lilly not making an out leave the thread immediately
  4. seriously? Would have been nice to roll the lineup over since the play wasn't even close. There's got to be a better chance he screws up the throw than Lilly not making an out
  5. 38 stores for a sub store is not a major chain
  6. Except....that was a book cover...not a video. :) Looking at the Amazon page there's a book and a vhs of the same title/same picture of Dusty
  7. If it's a national network, I'm all for it. But if it's not, then I (and people not living in the Chicago viewing area) would be screwed from following the Cubs on tv. I would have to wait till the Cubs came to Atlanta (Peachtree TV) or hope they get a Nat'l tv game on ESPN, FOX, TBS to follow them. ATP I much rather have less then 50% of Cubs games on WGN over 0% of games on their own personal broadcast channel. There are no national networks for sports teams. MLB won't allow it. I mean, I get YES on my television, but it's blacked out during Yankee games. Any Cubs game that isn't shown on WGN (aside from the obvious exceptions) is one you won't be able to watch.
  8. The Cubs have been terrible recently at hitting with runners on/in scoring position.
  9. He's played 41 of 54 team games, meaning he's very well on his way to reaching the 75-game mark that guarantees his third year. 34 of 108 to vest. He'd have to blow something out soon not to make it It doesn't seem possible, but he's on pace for 500 PAs
  10. So he spends his first 15 years with the Braves, leaves when they don't want to pay him anymore, comes back to retire a Brave, and now that they've decided he's done he's going to get in a fight with them. That's a shame http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=4239049
  11. Somehow Patton has two more wins than Wells. That's impossible.
  12. it was close, i thought he might have made it but there weren't any good replays I thought he was safe live, looked like he was tagged from the replay
  13. well, we can see why he's the back of the pen for them
  14. that would have been terrifying if I had still held hope that we would win
