  1. Soriano not being able to hit Pedro is one of the least surprising things ever
  2. I expect that sort of partisanship from Cubs fans living on the South Side. Coming from a European I'm not sure has even been to this country, it seems odd
  3. I know of no Cubs fans who call that "the catch". Yeah, that's pretty pathetic writing. It was a nice catch and all, but come on. The only moment in history baseball fans refer to as "The Catch" is the one by Willie Mays at the Polo Grounds I was wondering which "The Catch" (baseball or football) would be more famous, so off to google I went. Results: Youtube picks baseball. Wikipedia picks baseball, but it's close. Google's first hit is for the Wikipedia page on the football catch. Baseball in a split decision. The real question is: will White Sox fans start calling something else The Catch now?
  4. It's good to know that if that had been dropped or gone off the wall, bradley would have been held to a single
  5. If something lands in the 3rd base seats at Wrigley and you call it a home run, you should be fired.
  6. It landed in the foul seats, did't it?
  7. Not even close. actually, it is.in 2006, we knew we had a crap team on our hands from the get go, but now, we have a high pay roll team that should be steamrolling their way to the top, and they cant hang. One would need that high payroll team actually on the field for it to steamroll anything. Yeah, but we've had most of them for most of the season. The string of injuries is getting ridiculous, and it makes it more annoying than if, say, Bradley and Ramirez had blown out their knees in the first couple of months
  8. Hey, a stat that makes perfect sense!
  9. stop trying to bunt really high pitches, Rich
  10. What was that?
  11. I was trying to figure out how old Diedre Pujols is because it seems pretty odd that Pujols could have married a woman who had a child with Down's before he met her and read this
  12. Definitely not a boring game. Glad we won. edit: the rare 6 minute apart double post
  13. Definitely not a boring game. Glad we won.
