  1. Do tell. Looked like it was going to get by the SS but he made a diving stop, threw it to second before the runner got there but the 2b was off the bag, no throw to first
  2. That was a "Yes! Oh no! Yes!" play.
  3. Cubs are 27th at 3rd in OPS and 29th at 4th, no overlap among the teams below them, so it's quite possible.
  4. Skied a ball 10 feet from home plate, they dropped it and didn't think to throw Fuk out at second
  5. Actually, in 2005 through 2008, April was one of his best months all four years.
  6. Ever hear a Yankees radio broadcast? It's amazing how many ads they can fit in there. This 3-2 pitch brought to you by Mobil, fill up at your local Mobil today. Foul ball. That foul ball was brought to you be Perdue chicken. That Perdue Chicken ad was brought to you be Steiner sports. With the Yankees and Computer Associates behind them, the kids at Make-a-Wish can't lose! Going back to the 90's for that one
  7. Does anyone else feel like Len and Bob are doing significantly more promotions/advertisements during the broadcast?
  8. How much is his salary by comparison? Less than a tenth
  9. when he hit .197 in 2006 he had an OPS that month of .715. .802 in April 2005. Under .500 now, I think
  10. I feel it should be possible to do a Cubs version of this song
  11. At least one Cubs pitcher learned not to throw him fastballs in the strike zone
  12. How many fingers is he throwing with?
  13. aramis' K rate is nearly twice his career average... the BABIP is really low but that's hardly his only problem. Aramis has k'd twice in his last six games played. I think he's starting to see the ball better. His LD% has gone from 7.1% to 13.8% over that time period but his BA hasn't moved much. He went from terrible to terribly unlucky.
  14. He would with his own job on the line.
  15. So Tracy is at about 40% of Soto's BA, OBP, and SLG
  16. Yes, he pinch hit for Hill with Tracy, a man hitting .141
