  1. Castro has been from-my-dreams-good, if I had good dreams about the Cubs. But I don't. Ever.
  2. In 2003, batters OPSed .374 off Gagne. He had a .69 WHIP. A 1.14 xFIP (less than half of Marmol's best). Gagne's 2003 was better than Marmol's 2010 like Sosa's 2001 was better than Pierre's 2003 .
  3. Where does that rank in self-refuting posts?
  4. lol Can't really call that a rally, but it sure was fake 1 page gamethread!
  5. Trying to come down on your toe on the front edge of the bag at first on a bang-bang play is begging to blow out your ankle, Bob
  6. Fred, your posts are coming in a good couple pitches (probably around 45 to 60 seconds) ahead of my WGN broadcast. Either that, or your statistics are finally enabling you to see the future. On what television provider? Fios FIOS and uverse are really slow compared to everything else

  8. That makes previous Santo toupees look fantastic. did he make it himself?
  9. What'd he say ?? (I've got the radio on) After telling bob "I've found your tuba" as the camera showed someone in the stands with a tuba, he said "that's not a tuba, it's a oneba"
  10. That will mark a low point in Len's broadcasting career
  11. Yes, between the O-line and the defensive secondary, I don't have much hope for breaking .500 this season.
  12. Celebrating a sack when you got flagged for facemasking the qb is pretty stupid
  13. He was so surprised the ball was thrown to him he fell over.
  14. It just looks too much like last season, except for the quarterback play. Nice tackle, Maynard
  15. I missed it...did he call a timeout and then after the timeout challenge the play? injury timeout. And that wasn't a particularly bad challenge. Yeah, they were going to lose, but at least it was close.
  16. Think he should have taken the sack there cutler appears to have some bruises on the right cheek.
  17. A tight end who could learn to be an adequate long snapper could really extend his career.
  18. Do we have a lineman with two apostrophes in his last name?
  19. He looked fine when they were showing him on the sideline after he came out, chatting with a coach
  20. Good job, Briggs
  21. If he gets that much time all year, we'll do okay. And there's forte again, dropping on the spot he gets first contact
  22. Yeah but the umpires have to stand out in the sun the entire game. The players get to go in the dugout (and or clubhouse) between innings. But the stain managed to move up from below the chest protector all the way to meet the sweat stains from his armpits.
  23. I wish I'd gotten a picture of the ump's sweat stain. That's amazing for someone just standing around
