I meant it like it's not a tear ligament. That's why I said or somewhat minor knee injury. That's what I think of when I hear the word "a sprained knee or knee sprain". Torn ACL/PCL/MCL of any kind (whether it's a small tear or totally torn) is usually a major injury. MCL or PCL isn't as bad as ACL. It's like you're arguing that "car accident" and "destroyed engine compartment" are mutually exclusive. Knee sprains cause, among other things, ACL tears.

If the decision on Cutler was made by the medical staff, why did they let him go out again in the second half? you mean they couldnt decide after his 1st series in the 2nd half?? Does anybody know if Cutler even went to the locker room in the 2nd half at all? I mean don't stadiums have like X-Ray or MRI machine there and whatnot? He went in before the end of the first half

Yes, but there are some things that affect how wise an idea it would be. Usually when you tear an acl there's other trauma to the knee which is going to make a bigger impact on just standing around on it.
