    I usually dislike daygames just because I'm in school (although not anymore), so I'd have to run to the library between classes to check the score. It was a bit of a hassle.

    Hope for the best with this team, but ALWAYS, under EVERY circumstance, expect the worst. It's less painful that way when they rip your heart out. I'll keep that in mind the next time the Cubs are up 12-1 in the 9th. I'll be expecting 3 grand slams :wink:

    I have to admit I wasn't surprised when I heard about this, but it's still a shame. It must be frustrating for a player to have so much potential to lose it all due to injury. Best of luck Mark, hope to see you back someday.

    I'd have to say the Angels or the Red Sox, although I'd be great to see the Rays make it if they could keep up the great year.

    I admit, the end of 04 was a bit frustrating. My mom had always been a cubs fan, and I casually watched the 03 NLCS (it's a good thing I wasn't really a fan then; I'd be devastated). So I wasn't really too hardcore in 04. But now, I really get into the games, and it's been a great year so far.
