In case anyone cares, after Marquis' gem yesterday, his ERA is down to 4.44. -
The Cub scored 1 in the 2nd, 2 in the 3rd, and 4 in the 4th. That means we're going to score 8 runs this inning, and 16 in the 6th.

Right now, I feel completely calm with Harden pitching, even if he's in a bit of a jam. It's a bit like when Marmol was in his prime and he'd walk two batters in a row with no outs. I knew he'd get out of it.

Hehe. Fortunately his opponents can't go to the plate with a jumbo wiffle bat either. That would actually be hilarious watching players try to hit Harden's 96mph fastball with a wiffle ball bat. I'm no physics expert but I think that solid contact would result in a slow groundball to the pitcher.

I don't see why everyone still hates Marquis. I think he has shown he can pitch well over the last couple months. Earlier, we were saying this game was a loss. What does Marquis do? 7 IP, 3 H, 0 ER.

St Louis (Lohse, 10-2, 3.61) @ Pirates (Duke, 4-5, 4.23) Dusty Baker's Reds (Fogg, 1-2, 8.39)@ Milwaukee (Parra, 8-2, 3.65) Pitching matchup wise, things don't look good. At least the Cubs won. Also, Gallagher is starting for Oakland. I'll be cheering him on.
