  1. Let's get some enthusiasm! (I promise, when we are down 8-0, I will quit being optimistic)
  2. Who rhe hell is Joey Votto?
  3. Maybe the Reds will pull a Cubs and give up runs the inning after they score.
  4. Well this game got off to a great start. C'mon, optimism, guys!
  5. Good thing for the rain delay, so the game didn't start while I was out getting food. Now let's get this game started!
  6. Nice lineup, although it'd be better if Lee and Dero were switched around.
  7. The key is going to be the four-game set the Brewers have in Philly next weekend. The Phillies will have to face Sheets but they miss CC. If the Phillies can win that series, that means they would only have to make up two games over the last 18, which is certainly possible. If the Brewers split that series, though, they're set. Wow, the Brewers play the Phillies soon? Awesome win-win situation.
  8. I predict that the Pads will win and CC will leave in the 5th with an injury.
  9. Haha, imagine if the Cubs extended their winning streak with a forefeit because of the manager not showing up. JK, I'm sure they would just have a substitute.
  10. I only watch Japanese cartoons when the women are being "tentacled" by large sea monsters Come on, no one here plays Trauma Center?
  11. Cubs just go at least 14-8 and ease our concerns. Also, pre game rally pic: http://www.atlus.com/res/angie.bmp
  12. Advantage Cubs. Let's just keep it that way with a few wins. For sure. Brewerfan.net is in meltdown mode. 8-) "I admit that I am in full panic mode right now. I really think we are going to blow this playoff spot. With Peavy going on Saturday we will be lucky to split this series and if we somehow lose with CC pitching tomorrow night this team could really fall aprt in a hurry. I truly fear the road trip especially the games in Philly and Chicago. If we dont make the playoffs this year I dont think we ever will and that is sad". "I will only add that if this teams blows a playoff spot this year, I will not be renewing my season tickets for next year. 15 years of season tickets w/o the playoffs is my limit. Fool me once, shame on you; fool me 15 times...well, I don't even know how to respond to that one". Lol, another great quote: "As I said before, if this team misses the playoffs, I'm just walking away. Done with them. Walking away. I know there have been worse collapses for other teams, but this is the year we need to do it. The Brewers have looked too legitimately "real" all season long for them to not even get a shot at the playoffs. To hold my love, excitement, and genuine confidence for almost 6 months and then miss the playoffs on shoddy defense, unclutch batting, and terrible pullpen issues is too much for me to take for something that offers so little real tangible reward."
  13. It happens. At least we have a 5 ga- Wait- Um, at least you have a sizeable wild card lead?
  14. CU- I mean, PADRES WIN! 5 up, magic number 18!
  15. Howry bad?
  16. Trade Z for Testes.
  17. No reason to stop there, Pads.
  18. Please don't pull a Lee, no name Padres player.
  19. Let's break it open, Pads! The way the Cubs and Brewers are playing, they're both due to be hot when they meet at Wrigley. That should be interesting.
  20. VENABLE! I love the Other Games Threads where we shout out names of players we don't know at all.
  21. Lol, Testes has no Ks.
  22. Maybe since the Cubs aren't playing today, the Brewers have absorbed all of their suckiness. Cubs will now proceed to end the season 20-2.
