It's all always exciting to see playoff races go to the last game of the season (unless one of those teams is your, of course). Go Indians! Go Twins! Go Marlins! Go Phillies!

No matter who wins the AL Central, they'll face the Rays. Oh yeah, that's right. That'd still be pretty cool. I can see that going to a game 5.

Twins lose, stay a half game up in the division. It would be great if they won so I could go to game 3 or 4 of the playoffs (assuming they don't get swept by the Angels).

I go to Chicago every year, so I try to go to a Cubs game every time. 2004-vs. Dodgers. Maddux pitching. Cubs lost 2005. vs. Marlins. Willis pitching for Marlins (don't remember who was pitching for the Cubs). Cubs lost 2006. vs Astros. Cubs lost. August 1, 2007. v. Phillies. Rich Hill Pitching. Cubs won on a bases loaded wild pitch in the 9th. August 1, 2008. vs Pirates. Marquis pitching. Karstens pitching for Pirates. Cubs lost 3-0. August 6, 2008. vs Astros. Marquis pitching. Marquis gives up 4 runs in the top of the 4th. In the bottom of the 4th, with 1 on and two out, Backe walks the bases loaded. Derosa hits a grand slam. Kosuke hits a double. Jesus IBB'd. Marquis with an RBI double. Soriano with a 3 run home run. 8 run inning, Cubs win 11-5. It was the best Cubs game ever :D

Does a baserunner signaling "safe" on the basepaths really influence the umpire at all? That's like writing a report and writing "A" on the top of it.

Jason Marquis will pitch great against Milwaukee, be our game 1 starter, and throw a CG shutout. He will also win the clinching game of the World Series, throwing a perfect game against the Angels, and win the MVP of everything award.
