I find it embarrasssing that we or certain fans think that just because on paper a team or the Cards dont look good or youve never heard of them or whatever, that they cant achieve. If it were us, the song would be very different. Im disturbed that the CUbs are only 2.5 up. We are underachieving.

Hi guys and gals...let me preface my question with this...no I am not the FBI or CIA or whatever...fre post i know but just a long time lurker (sp?)..anyway, anyone here make, uhhhem..financial investments as it pertains to games. Who is this stiff the Pads are rolling out for God's sake? Z is a little pricey, but when its easy you gotta hit it. It was a fabulous time against the Rocks for the ole bank account..question do you agree wee just keep rollin???!!!??? I know you do, just trying to seperate the checkbook from the heart.

What a game...heard the last couple on Xm...post game Santo was about to [expletive] and cry happy tears all at the same time. Wow what a performance by Cubs, Colo should be so embarrassed...what a mess they are after just going to playoffs recently. Geez.

Hi guys and gals...Im a Cards fan...reading your board for a long time and finally registered, Edmunds driven. Hey Im not an ass...if we dont win the thing I, and a hell of alot Card fans root for the Cubs. Hope to find some good insight here for my habit with books and Im not talking at the library. Here's what theyre reporting in STL http://www.stltoday.com/stltoday/sports/stories.nsf/cardinals/story/06E9D2A55FF346AF8625744900514047?OpenDocument Whats funny, is the diehard Cub fan and Card fan doesnt want this to happen....what a great rivalry...you all (in general) gave this guy so much [expletive] about makeup and what not, and now he's there....its crazy...Seriously, JE is a class act, yeah everyone thinks he hotdogs it but we are all jealous because we cant do the same. IT will be very interesting to see if he can put it together there. Has a low 200 avg in house, but some clutch hits as you know. Thinking the tigher field plays to his age/current ability, so at this point I wouldnt sell him short helping ya defensively. Hell cheer the dramatic plays. This will be hard for both fan bases, but we both traded Lee Smith and Bruce back and forth and survived. Have fun all.
