    Prior vs Hampton tomorrow... I'm sensing series win tomorrow - that "play good vs good teams, but not so vs not so good teams" thing. (and yes, I'm putting this one in the books as a win)

    I guess that "youth movement" doesn't work for everyone in the Braves' minor league system. 2 granny's given up in 2 games so far for Devine. Maybe brought up a bit tooooooo soon, seeing as he was only just drafted about a couple months ago.

    Yeah. Means either 2 runs in 3 games coming up (as mentioned above), or we go on a streak of winning 6-7 of next 8, but then drop 5 or more in a row. Never fails.

    This is Colorado all over again... Cubs' leadoff men will reach 6 of 9 innings, or more, but we'll only scratch across a couple runs all night

    And do other teams' broadcasts come back after an inning has started more than either WGN or CSNC? You can almost always expect to miss at least the 1st pitch of every half inning, unless they need to cut back early for a promo.

    I gotta be honest... I get no enthusiasm from watching the Cubs play anymore (this year)... even if they get a lead, I can't help but wait to see how they lose the lead and eventually the game. The offense sucks and pitchers like Williams suck... just watching to do something to pass time.

    Dealt for who/what? Who gives a bleep at this point... selling those two for A-prospects (now, before offseason) doesn't do us much good at this point. And yes, I know how bad Hollandworthless is.

    Why do I foresee Neifi Perez as our starting SS next year and Alex S Gonzalez (our SS before Nomar last year) as his backup?? I honestly expect crap like that now from the Cubs... especially in these Losing Days. And maybe we'll get Eric Young back as the starting 2B and Bret Boone will be his main backup. Oh, I'm all a tither of excitement! \:D/ =D> =P~

    Unfortunately, there's not much that can be done now, at this point - save for the callups in almost a week's time. And they'll to wait until 9/1 to cut "the losers" if they were to do so, to replace them with callups. So any "loser dumping" that will occur will have to wait until the offseason. But expect Macias, Perez, Hollandsworth, and Burnitz to be back, if Dusty has any real say in the matter. "They're my lemons to make lemonade, dude!"
