  1. If you have mlb.com gameday, you can watch the catch on there
  2. 113 I doubt any manager is going to take out a pitcher that has a no hitter going into the ninth because of a pitch count
  3. lester through 8. at this point, pitch count doesn't matter
  4. It's already overshadowed them, it's espn, red sox and yankees are the only two teams who exist
  5. I just got home and watched the previews on mlb.com and what did you guys think of the edmonds catch? I don't feel like going back and trying to find it, but i'm guessing most of you guys called it a typical edmonds catch where he dogs it to make it look better than it really was. Am i right?
  6. But here comes the dagger broken bat single. or the two run shot
  7. Not so funny now, eh? unless he's going to close, there is no need for him to enter this game right now
  8. everyone knows by now, but why not... CUBS WINS!!!!!
  9. Theriot on 4 times already and not one stolen base attempt, wtf???
  10. Might need to bump up the threshold here Fred... these ain't Dusty's CUBS no more! As a matter of fact, I have been thinking about that idea, but from the data so far this year, no obvious cutoff point is jumping out at me here....... Team record by number of walks taken CUBS are 0-2 when they take 0 walks CUBS are 1-0 when they take 1 walks CUBS are 4-1 when they take 2 walks CUBS are 4-3 when they take 3 walks CUBS are 1-3 when they take 4 walks CUBS are 2-2 when they take 5 walks CUBS are 2-2 when they take 6 walks CUBS are 3-1 when they take 7 walks CUBS are 2-1 when they take 8 walks CUBS are 1-0 when they take 9 walks CUBS are 1-0 when they take 10 walks CUBS are 1-0 when they take 11 walks CUBS are 0-0 when they take 12 walks Looks like 5 walks is the median right now (19 games with less, 18 games with 5 or more). So, they are 12-6 when they draw at least 5 walks, and 10-9 when they don't. Cubs are 3-0 when they draw at least 9 walks, go figure
  11. but, but, but... he has 9k's! you're doing that not-at-all tired, completely hilarious green font thing like the k's don't, in part, cancel out some of the harm from the walks, but they do. bring him back up. haha, i guess you didn't catch the fake sarcasm
  12. who is the manager at iowa? He is my hero! When hill was taken out, this is the switch he made. Torres from center to left Fuld from right to center Hoffpauir from first to right McGehee from third to first Figueroa from short to third Blanco in to play short Aciano in to pitch for hill Only the second baseman and catcher weren't replaced Holy mega double switch batman
