Lou is starting to wear on me. This is too Dusty-esque. As you can tell by the name, I'm a drinker, but did Lou do this type of stuff last year? Like announcing Daryl Ward, then bringing in Cedeno to pinch hit?

Think of it this way. Each event in a game raises or lowers the probability that a given team will lose. Both teams start out the game at 50%. After each event (out, hit, walk, double play, etc.), the probability goes back and forth between the teams accordingly. Makes sense now that I actually noticed the two teams on the side. Thanks

Yeah, he wasn't going very fast as he approached third, it seemed Go back and look at the double he hit. I don't want to say he's dogging it, but man, even when he hit that gapper his first couple steps looked like someone who just hit a HR. Didn't he say recently that h'es 100% now?

Can't believe Dempster is still in the game. That said, under the circumstances thank god it's only 2-1 after that inning.

Hit by a pitch on the hand. Didn't look very good, but nobody really knows anything yet. Ouch. Also, skimming through here it seems like Soriano has had a particularly bad game. I read about the missed flyball, what else has he done bad? Everything other than a RBI FC that Izturis caught, especially another botched routine pop up to left that led to an RBI ground rule double

Are you seriously blaming Howry? He got 6 outs in a row. i was at the game the on Wednesday night and watched Howry give up 2 on the hardest hit homer I've ever seen. have you watched Howry yet this year? 6 outs? nicely placed... I wasn't aware this was the Wednesday game thread. i wasn't aware that cumulative performance was only available for daily criticism. my bad... Since you threw Howry in there w/ Soriano, I must ask again. Why not include Ward? Or even Fontenot? Damn that Howry for pitching a perfect 8th.

What exactly has Howry done to warrant this? He's pitched just fine. watch many games this year, dude? Seeing as how this is todays game thread, I figured you were talking about what Howry has done tonight alone. Howry hasn't been good this year, but he should have been out of that inning with 0 runs. Edit. Go ahead and mention Daryl Ward too since you're obviously talking about people who have done nothing all year when given the chance.
