    There are so many things wrong with this post, I don't know where to start. I know it's an overreaction, it's 6 games into the season that I knew was going to be horrible, and I'm already losing it Oh, Byrd being garbage was probably the most right thing. However... 1) His stock is currently very low, there's nowhere for it to go. 2) Jared Sullinger is a top 10 draft prospect for the NBA, and some mocks have him going as high as 6th. That's not plummeting. 3) Campana isn't on the roster, he'd need to be called up. 4) Jackson has things to work on in AAA and there's no reason to start the arby clock, so he won't be called up, despite what WSR constantly believes. In no way is Sullinger going 6th and he won't be top 10 either

    Yep, it hit the bat. Even if it didn't hit the bat, he went around. Didn't Jeter break his hand/finger/something a couple years back on a check swing which is basically what just happened.

    We should be so thankful he is better than hot garbage. Well, they combined to start 26 games for us last year. So yeah, I think you should be thankful. Or we could have just not signed him and given Wells or Wood the rotation spot who are both a lot better than hot garbage too. Well they stated multiple times they wanted depth. Wells is the 6th starter. Would you rather have Maholm or Wells be the 5th? The all important 6th starter :roll:

    Runner on 3rd 2 outs pitcher on deck and they don't even bother to pitch around Byrd to get the pitcher. Gonna be a long year Edit: I guess it makes sense with a 5 run lead, but Byrd was a damn all star two years ago. Trade him asap

    He's in Iowa. I'm not a huge fan but he couldn't at least beat out Rodrigo Lopez for a spot on the team as the long man? Are they just trying to keep his arm live when they trade Garza or Dempster?
