  1. The Marlins are the anti-cubs. Luckiest team ever.
  2. SANCHEZ!
  3. David Brent dance anyone?
  4. I am really completely fine with keeping Pie away from Dusty, Clines and Sarge. The less time he spends around them the better.
  5. Seriously. Didn't Theriot just have a huge double in this game? FedEx must have delived the book on Theriot to the pirates dugout sometime between the second and the fifth.
  6. Great, a sac bunt. What's the point of having fast guys at the top of the order if you're just going to sac them into scoring position anyway?
  7. SWEET! I get to watch the Braves vs the Nats!!!!
  8. Ugh... No matter how many times I see it, I still can't get used to it. I can't wait for Dusty to be gone.
  9. SWEET! NOW WE CAN BRING UP BYNUM TO START IN LF/SS/2B!!!!!!!
  10. And clutch HR's in the NLCS I thought that was vs the Braves (NLDS), or did he hit another? Randall's #s from the 2003 post-season: NLDS: 4 Games, 3/7, 0 HR, 2 RBI, .429 AVG, .429, OBP, .571 SLG NLCS: 6 Games, 5/17, 1 HR, 4 RBI, .294 AVG, .294, OBP, .588 SLG True to his nature, he did not reach base by any other way than a hit.... but he did hit! I coulda sworn it was vs the braves, I must be confusing Turner field and Joe Robby/Pro-Player/Dolphin stadium.

  12. YAY, baseball all day tomorrow!! oh wait. The Cubs suck.
  13. He had a pretty good K rate last year. Anyway to get starting/relief splits? He has a fairly good HR/9 over his career, I think that's why I assumed he'd be a ground ball pitcher.
  14. Nope; extreme flyball pitcher. :( I like ground balls.
  15. To be fair, most people on Cubs.com seem to like it.
