    btw.... are Boone & Erickson still doing morning drive on WCCO ? I have no idea, I'm a MPR guy. did you go to the "U"? I spent 7 years there, Master of Architecture. I just bought myself a "M" hitch cover today. my wife was laughing at me, but I told her I spent enough $$ there that I had better start taking pride in that school.... :shock: No.... actually the time I spent in Minneapolis was really all "commuting" time. I was only there M-F, and on weekends, I'd go home. First to Madison, WI.... then we moved back to Chicago. I stayed at the MN chapter of my college fraternity for a few months.... but as soon as the weather warmed up, that was really not good for my blood pressure, eh? too many blonds for ya? lol

    I've used that expression so many times, my sister bought me a T-shirt one Christmas that reads, "What part of Uff Da don't you understand ?" despite what you might think about Minn and Scandanavians, there are more Germans in this state that any other ethnic group....wild, huh? I need a t-shirt like that :)

    That's Norwegian for Oy Vay, no? German :wink: I grew up in N Illinois. lots of German and Irish in my 'hood. I'm nearly full blooded considerning my family has been there for over 150 years. I figured you would have known uff da, HORNKOHL!!!!! :) I know it 'cause I lived in the Twin Cities with all of them Norwiegians for 4 years, eh? what town? I live in S. MPLS

    I won't break down Guzman here (I think it was mostly location, but I'll leave that to people who watched him closer-I was slightly distracted the first couple innings), but I will tell you the Rockies deserved all their runs. Those weren't bloops and dunks-they hit him all over the yard and hit pretty much every hit very hard until they pulled him. uff da

    Boy, wouldn't it be a kick in the teeth if the Cubs gave Pierre a Furcal-like contract? I wouldn't put it past Hendry to throw that type of money in Pierre's direction. I think the whole impetus behind Hendry's desire to re-sign Pierre is to justify the trade in the first place. I get the feeling that Hendry will do anything to "prove" that the Pierre acquisition was a good one, even if it means compounding the original mistake by making an even bigger mistake. good GOD...why us?

    He has been benched until next season per MLB rules on mascots. No, I am not kidding. :shock: please elaborate.... I work designing MLB ornaments. The approval process is absolutely brutal. It's literally months longer than any other license. Real nice people working there though. so can you send a friend a few Cub beer bottle coolers :D I would if I could but we don't make those. :cry:
