  2. hi guys!!! dont you love watching great pitching beat great hitting!!! its like fishing for stipped bass, you gotta pay attention tot he seagulls!!! what the hell happend to Z?
  3. jsut scored 18 row tix 3rd base side. cant wait. to bad the Twinkies dont have their stadium built yet, that would be the frosting on the cake...
  4. so your sayin' theres a chaance....YES!!!!!!!!!
  5. I think you took Rufus alittle early there chief ;)
  6. word on the street is its Samsonite...
  7. Rufus would be a reach @ #20, and I meant to say if we didnt draft Timmons there we could look at Rufus later in the draft, but not at #20. how good is Beason? when would he be a good pick...?
  8. cuz Briggsy (as good as he is) cant play 3 positions at once... but who would play the will spot? posluszny? Timmons if he is availible @ #20, or possible Rufus Alexander...but there are options this year..
  9. I'd imagine they'd have to sweeten it a lot to top the Redskins deal or am I just being dim? I think its alot better cuz we dont have to give up the 31st pick, giving us 2 in the first round...(thats they way I am reading it anyway..) still, maybe the Giants can kick in a 3-4 rd'r too... :) I'd probably take it straight up, if the Bears got to keep all their picks. 3 picks from 20-37 could conceivably bring in 3 starters, provided the Bears have 3 holes to fill. but why not just give the money to briggs instead of to 2 first round picks? You won't be giving $25-30M guaranteed to players in the bottom 1/3 of the 1st round. The 6th pick, was another story. 25-30 mil? i was thinking 15-20 tops for briggs. Briggs prolly wont sign with us for anything under 20 mil gar...
  10. cuz Briggsy (as good as he is) cant play 3 positions at once...

  12. HMMMM........ http://nfl.aolsportsblog.com/2007/0...r-lance-briggs/ According to a report from Scout.com (registration required), the New York Giants have made an offer to the Chicago Bears for linebacker Lance Briggs. The report also states that the offer would be for the Giants number one draft pick; 20th overall. It went on to add that they would need to sweeten the deal a bit for a move to actually happen
  13. I guess it's nice that Angelo is being selective but I doubt we'll see a better offer than that. I'm dissapointed. briggs is a 2-time all-pro selection after 4 years in the league. a sure-thing. letting the redskins get away with swapping picks would be absolutely criminal. Briggs is as good as gone. Letting him walk and getting nothing in return would be criminal. briggs isn't in any kind of position to be dictating what the bears do. the seahawks went through this for a couple of years with walter jones. no one has ever held out after being tagged. There is a first time for everything. Pretty sure we're never going to agree on this one. WHILE i AGREE THERE IS A 1ST FOR EVERYTHING, i DONT THINK ja SHOULD BE BULLIED BY BRIGGS. (caps are hell) Why not wait it out ans see if there are any better offers? its worh a shot...
  14. That would be a great deal for the Bears. yes it would
  15. interesting things a happen'n mods, can I do this? if not strike it. I got it from chicagobears.com message board...
  16. HAHAHA is right..if JA can get MORE for Briggs I will forgive him for the checked box incident with Holdman...
  17. The craps tables are calling. I can only imagine Z gambling. Imagine being the dealer when he loses. You think there's a dealer in Vegas with the guts to tell Z he lost? I would, just to see Z's reaction...of course I am not a dealer..and I am not in Vegas....
  18. i THINK THE #6 PICK IN THE DRAFT STRAIGHT UP FPR BRIGGS WOULD BE GOOD FOR THE BEARS :)
  19. a middle lineup of Tommie boy, Urlacher, and Landry would be friggen awesome.
  20. WITHA #6 PICK COULD WE TRADE DOWN AND GET WILLIS (LB) AND ANOTHER STUD SS?
