    I thought so too, which is why I see them staying at 9 and not trading up to get one

    I do wonder what the positive news about Eberflus really was, were there any qualifiers to Eberflus's retention like beat GB or don't embarrass us in the rest of the games or keep improving? Win 50% of your remaining games? or was it just good ol feely stuff like "we like Eberflus and see him as our leader"?

    Why? Doesn’t Poles himself meet that qualification? (At least I thought GM was also subject to it, but may not replace the coaching mandate, but in any event, Harbaugh could bring in a minority OC and cover the issue)
