  1. it just feels like you've lost a step, I mean you use the word "optimistic" now sigh
  2. I'm referring to the doom and gloom loving hairy, not this new fangled we-can-have-a-world-class-qb hairy
  3. haha I love it; the Bears can never win when it comes to the QB position. And they SHOULDNT. (rereads what i just wrote): great...now I'M kyle
  4. i want the horsefeathers "G" lamp or whatever it is
  5. Or they are racist
  6. I’m just trying to find the third leg of the stool, might be a two legged stool unless Steele hits Jake Mode
  7. Chicago now has BEDARD and presumably Williams does Crow-Armstong fit in?
  8. He better be. as for Fields, he’ll get a chance to learn from someone whose been in the SB and knows how to play at a high level, and with a OC who likes running QBs. might be the perfect place for him
  9. Fields was redshirted and forced his way into the starting role against someone I think you claimed was a better QB than Justin, Dalton shouldn't be THAT hard for Caleb
  10. Doing right by Justin is stacking Caleb Williams up against him to see if Caleb really is THAT good; its a fair situation for everyone really
  11. If I’m Caleb Williams and the undisputed #1 pick in the draft and Justin Fields is as bad as you say he is, I like my chances. A lot. we’ll see
  12. im gald you didnt say the name of the place hell
  13. thats a fair thought, to be sure
  14. maybe thats what Poles meant by doing right for Justin: giving him the opportunity to keep QB1 albeit with likely Caleb as competion I'm ok with that. I think "locker room distraction" is overrated. If Fields figures it out, the Bears have Caleb to dangle as a trade option, if Fields doesnt figure it out, they have Caleb
  15. I'll actually miss the Cousins led Vikings
  16. The falcons will throw up 38 points a game, dominate the South, and lose in the first round by 25 good ol Cousins
  17. https://apple.news/ACs37wKoYRx6jJD7OkgSeDg
  18. the Bears are a walking red flag
  19. nah, a good architect would build a good baseball stadium OR a good football stadium
  20. I actually prefer the Sox's stadium plan to what the Bears have cooked up so far - its better thought out. but also hell no to a multi-sport arena. They never end up being good for any specific sport
  21. actually, Poles fleecing the Panthers last year may be THE reason other teams are low-balling Poles this year. The Panthers trade looks horrendous and no one wants to go down that path and get suckered by trading for either Fields or the #1 and simply overpaying. They are playing the waiting game with Poles, hoping he caves and gives up Fields for far less
  22. Filling in any navigable body of water out here brings in the sate, feds and tribal concerns. Not sure what would come into play at a marina in Chicago, but I could see years in a permitting process
  23. Wilson won’t go anywhere, he’s done
  24. yes, if all 3 of the top wr's are gone, Bowers is likely to be there. Pair him with Kmet and DJ Moore and you have 3 quality targets. You could bargain bin shop later rounds or FA for a WR
