  1. If I’m Caleb Williams and the undisputed #1 pick in the draft and Justin Fields is as bad as you say he is, I like my chances. A lot. we’ll see
  2. im gald you didnt say the name of the place hell
  3. thats a fair thought, to be sure
  4. maybe thats what Poles meant by doing right for Justin: giving him the opportunity to keep QB1 albeit with likely Caleb as competion I'm ok with that. I think "locker room distraction" is overrated. If Fields figures it out, the Bears have Caleb to dangle as a trade option, if Fields doesnt figure it out, they have Caleb
  5. I'll actually miss the Cousins led Vikings
  6. The falcons will throw up 38 points a game, dominate the South, and lose in the first round by 25 good ol Cousins
  7. https://apple.news/ACs37wKoYRx6jJD7OkgSeDg
  8. the Bears are a walking red flag
  9. nah, a good architect would build a good baseball stadium OR a good football stadium
  10. I actually prefer the Sox's stadium plan to what the Bears have cooked up so far - its better thought out. but also hell no to a multi-sport arena. They never end up being good for any specific sport
  11. actually, Poles fleecing the Panthers last year may be THE reason other teams are low-balling Poles this year. The Panthers trade looks horrendous and no one wants to go down that path and get suckered by trading for either Fields or the #1 and simply overpaying. They are playing the waiting game with Poles, hoping he caves and gives up Fields for far less
  12. Filling in any navigable body of water out here brings in the sate, feds and tribal concerns. Not sure what would come into play at a marina in Chicago, but I could see years in a permitting process
  13. Wilson won’t go anywhere, he’s done
  14. yes, if all 3 of the top wr's are gone, Bowers is likely to be there. Pair him with Kmet and DJ Moore and you have 3 quality targets. You could bargain bin shop later rounds or FA for a WR
  15. That’s a terrible idea, Minnesota would use that 3rd to draft the next Tom Brady
  16. Or he just thinks the step up to Caleb will more than mitigate any success Fields may have against Chicago. A trade partner is better than no trade partner (or less return). I feel that’s as valid as any really, and why I wouldn’t fear trading Fields with in the division
  17. Well, I meant them more as the “Mystery Team”, but if everyone has truly seen enough of Justin in Chicago that’s he’s being traded away to make room for the next QB, I don’t know why Poles would hold back. If he feared Justin succeeding in Minnesota, you’d have to wonder why he’d trade him in the first place.
  18. I could see the Vikings trading for Fields if they lose Cousins
  19. I'll always miss Justin. I just love the guy as a person. However, my #1 tenet in life when dealing with a challenge is Quantity is a Quality. Period. If the Bears have to go through multiple prospects in their search for THE QB, so be it. They'll get there eventually
  20. he probably got canned because he had terrible takes on everything. My evidence is that tweet
  21. Eli should be bolded, he won 2 sb’s
  22. and Fields would be better at it
  23. Fields wasnt playing in the Ravens offense, he was playing in Getsy's 1, 2nd down halfback dive offense
  24. I dont think Fields is ever going to be a worldbeater until he is in a Ravens style office that utilizes his talents, including running the ball. I know people say/feel that will just shorten his career, but its what he excels at
