while I was in Minneapolis this past weekend (grad class reunioin), I had several conversations about the Bears, Vikings and Packers with a few of them. I relayed what a couple of my Viking-fan friends felt (doom is always in their future), but what felt almost desperate was my Packer-fan buddy who tried to make an arguement that letting go of Justin Fields instead of trading the #1 pick for another draft pick haul was a huge mistake. I'll admit, I certainly gave that idea some headspace last winter, but I cant think that any Bear fan paying attention to the current state of the Bears offense would think the same.
