    Its the perfect pickup even if it does cost a decent prospect (someone in the Vitters/Watkins/McNutt vein?). Worst case (assuming his back is OK and his performance after his return indicates that) is he doesn't bounce back and you make in a QO next year and get him back on another pillow contract/get draft pick compensation if he signs elsewhere. Best case is he is the top targeted SP at the trade deadline. Trading for Haren is basically going to guarantee that at the very least, you get to add at least a first round-ish prospect down the line. Don't really think of what Haren will do for the Cubs on the field next year (because we aren't going to contend), think about what Haren will net the Cubs when he leaves. And that will be more than just a decent prospect. I THOUGHT YOU WERE DEAD

    What does that mean? "SKI" is Ojibwa (largest tribe in MN) for "Go" or "Charge" "U MAH" is just colloquial "U of M". They've been chanting it since the late 1800's up there. I'm obliged to follow.

    I feel like IU isn't that far away. Of course, I've felt that way for like 20 years now. They've lost 4 games by a total of 10 points. A last second FG vs. Ball St. Blown 4th quarter leads of 10 and 9 vs. Michigan St and Navy. Furious comeback just short vs. Ohio St. Gotta find a way to stop people, but this offense can score against most teams. Should be 5-3 or even 6-2 right now tbh. Glad to see Coffman benched for Sudfeld finally. Coffman isn't terrible but Sudfeld is the future. Great win, 3-5 with the next two games at home. You guys should probably be ranked. So how did Purdue fare today? I'm just assuming you guys beat Minnesota. I mean, c'mon. I wouldn't even expect that game to be close. :good: Purdue sucks. At least I'm not delusional. SKI U MAH
