    There could be a case made that the leading players of the team decided Waldron had to go after Williams took 9 sacks in an effort to actually save there rookies career.

    its called "holding people accountable". Lovie did that extremely well. I cant remember the DB's name, but I remember a guy Lovie drafted who picked off the Packers right before half time. Ran it back for a pick 6 until he eased up and was caught. Lovie (iirc) never let the guy start again ETA: I want to say it was McBride

    the only reason I think it could be him is because of "play Bagent" rumors, supposedly from other players. Well that and the whole flipping offensive plays inside out thing

    yea, I wonder how much of this goes back to him being the #1 pick, replacing Fields, being the focus of Hard Knocks, etc and was lingering before the season collapsed. Did the team quit on him and cause the collapse, or was it Waldrons stupidty that caused the collapse and thats when these anti-Williams issues came to surface? I think it matters, becuase if Thomas can right the offesnse, it could slowly evaporate and not be an issue by the end of the season
