  1. welp, shoot yourself in the foot
  2. GO DEEP jesus
  3. The Gophers lost today, and that was sad. But they were in it with Mizzou for along time and they outranked us by a slew. I love seeing the Big Ten rising.
  4. [expletive] 'BAMA
  5. his work as a OC for NO is intriguing, but the Jets will likely hire him. I dont know any Bills fans, how are they meatbally? Man, back in the 80's, I dont know how they didnt win at least one. They, and Cleveland, are probably the two teams from that time that I really would have loved to see win one.
  6. I hope all these "nos" end up costing him the Ravens GM somehow
  7. It's disturbing when you see how well Darling and Raanta played when he was out. Crawfords contract might cost us Sharp or Seabrook after the year. That said Crawford wasn't that bad most of the game and hasn't been particularly bad this year. Raanta played like a wall, I want him starting and go get a third Cup if we have to lose Sharp
  8. Did the Bills go through a recent ownership change? Do you think they are looking to move? LA perhaps?
  9. Hey butters I like Mauk he throws us the ball alot
  10. Saw that, is he a good target? I don't know his history
  11. Best offensive skill players in the NFL + horrible offense = all Jays fault
  12. In the real world you don't know all the candidates for such a job. There aren't dozens of websites ranking these dudes and talking about their achievements. So you hire consultants to provide you with that list, likely to make initial contact with those candidates to gauge interest and in some cases due a little background digging to make sure there is no funny business reason why you should ignore an otherwise qualified candidate. In football I do not see why it is necessary, but if you are George it is probably prudent to do so. So, The Boys aren't trusted to their own judgement by Mama? Or by The Board?
  13. There's about a billionty articles explaining this. Really? Can you link me a few? Um, ok. A google search of "Bears Accorsi" brought this up. http://chicago.cbslocal.com/2014/12/30/gabriel-ernie-accorsi-will-help-bears-find-right-leader/ You're awesome Eta; sry, I'm not lazy I'm just driving up into the Cascades for the day, so thanks

  15. Because Phillips and mccaskey aren't football guys and their last search firm they brought recommended Emery. McCaskeys family OWNS a football team, Phillips has been in the business since like 2000, how are they not football guys?
  16. Are you surprised? This is the same thing me and WF22 were complaining about. They don't have a football guy at the top, they don't follow a proper chain of command. Phillips and mccaskey have their hand in the cookie jar regardless if Accorsi is there or not. this isn't about them not having a football guy at the top. it's about needing to hire the guy at the top first. Shouldn't that be included in the role of Accorsi to state common sense that the GM should be hired before the HC? Yes, but it's the timing issue
  17. [expletive] east coast shmucks Jk
  18. Help me out people with amazing executive search experience, why would you hire a guy like Accorsi?
  19. Some guys can only be interviewed now or you have to wait for weeks. It is perfectly reasonable that they would interview these guys to get the process started so that once a GM is hired they will only have to let him interview these guys again. It's a lot better than not showing any interest in them and allowing potential candidates to be ignored. given this organization's history of ineptitude with these things, i have a hard time believing they're doing something that smart. if they are, sure, it's great. It has already been reported that this is exactly what they are doing. i hadn't heard that Neither have I, but why else would they do it?

It's a lot better than not showing any interest in them and allowing potential candidates to be ignored. Actually, that does make sense given playoff teams. But it's still not an excuse for them leaving Emery in the chair up until Monday.
