    According to Windy City Gridiron, the Bears interview Vic for the HC. Speculation includes the player love for him and just general respect for how hard hes worked the Defense into shape. You have to wonder if this is the Buddy Ryan affect on the McCaskeys/Virginia

    Which brings me back to: If you feel that way, why do you want the Bears job out of the 15 jobs that are open this offseason? THATISTHECONCERN.jpeg/gif I guess that depends on who you believe to be a “top candidate”. I doubt any of them are hard set against Mitch. Why would they be? Id worry more about a defensive minded coach not wanting to invest in the offense, or not knowing how to do so.

    The head coach hire is a make or break decision, but this isn't quite a make or break year. With a 2-year extension both Pace and this new coach will have until 2019 to really show it on the field. He could go 7-9 this year and not risk losing his job. He could probably go 5-11 again and stay at the helm. I meant it more as a make or break year in terms of how I thought about him (which is super important to him and everyone else, I am sure).     I feel like you could get a glimmer a god complex when he got to Denver and wanted to trade Cutler immediately. And lets not forget, he’s working with Tom Brady for crying out loud. How long before he bails in Mitch and wants to dump him for some NE cast off? How much of his success is actually due to his play calling?

    I think you have to bring Fuller back considering all the other holes that need to be filled. Franchise if you must, but start working on a contract.

    Nope. Mitch needs one offensive system to work under. Go with that guy as hc and you'll never lose him to a higher job. Yes. Not to mention the league has been migrating towards more offense since forever. I personally don’t care for that because I love super defensive teams, but thats how you maintain winning in the league.
