  1. Why? At this point they have more upside then the horsefeathering cowboys Define upside? Because the Cowboys are certainly better than the Jets currently. Like, in the offseason? Sure. But the Jets just rolled that draft. Dallas didn’t do horsefeathers except sign Andy Dalton. (Thats not really true, Dallas had a good draft, but horsefeathers sticking up for the Dallas Cowboys)
  2. Why? At this point they have more upside then the horsefeathering cowboys Even if the Jets won the Superbowl, which they won't, no one would care about the Jets. Its the nfl thread. No one cares about any team but their own. If Tom wants to post about the Jets, who cares? If you don’t like Tom, ignore him. But you know Dylan, just gotta cyber creep cuz he’s nothing more then a horsefeathering wanna be Texan anyway.. i guess thats the dick you want to suck too now?
  3. SHUT UP ABOUT THE JETS Why? At this point they have more upside then the horsefeathering cowboys
  4. You're not totally wrong. Obviously the skills at S gave greatly shifted already with offenses. You're still looking at differences in how the position is played, that you aren't gonna literally just drop in a CB without prior development at S (and this year will likely suck to try and do a crash course since team activities will be restricted). You still want a good run support player who can also cover a bigger receiver in 12 personnel, probably at least 50% of the time. And most importantly make sure Jackson is that single high role again unlike with Clinton-Dix, where he was forced into that box S position a lot instead. the shear number of CB's on this roster should facilitate one taking on the S position, quantity is a quality. But I get what you are saying about forcing Jackson to play up as opposed to the single high pos he excels at. I'm just not convinced a traditional SS is the answer Clowney: the news out here is saying that the Seahawks are aggressively trying to sign him, hence the Fluker and Britt cuts
  5. Question: Why are they available? Answer: As running backs lose importance in the nfl, so do safeties and mlb’s Just play with 3 cb’s and Jackson
  6. we dont need a safety
  7. Fluker, not Britt
  8. Never heard of him, but here's a hype headline (no I haven't even read the article yet) https://thedraftnetwork.com/articles/darnell-mooney-tulane-most-underrated-wr-2020-nfl-draft Its almost as if he posts on nsbb
  9. You can still get plenty of oline help in the 6th and 7th Help me out on that one. What’s the likelihood of finding plenty of help this far in? I’m trying to see it with Pace. I really am. But his picks consistently leave me befuddled. If you aren’t drafting oline in the first 2 rounds, the talent level from 3-7 is far more consistant
  10. Theres your burner wr, 4.38 40
  11. You can still get plenty of oline help in the 6th and 7th
  12. Yea tons of bodies at CB now. I'd assume Denmark is a S or cut. Crawford, Burns, and Toliver are really JAG, and Roberson probably is too, but does have a little more dead cap. Joseph a PS guy. Still Vildor will be a bubble guy, so this is one of the first head scratches at this point. But the next 4 picks will also probably all be 50/50 shots to make the 53 man. I dont mind the pick mainly because safeties aren’t that critical in the nfl anymore, well, strong safeties. Any of those CBs could move to a free safety pos and probably do fine. Cover guys are whats more important.
  13. Vildor, a fast cb
  14. Meh it's one for one and who knows what the evaluation process looks like next year cuz of covid. Next year is the year they have to draft a qb, which likely means trading up. They just gave away a 4th for a 5th because Ryan Pace does not understand value. If next year is the year they need to deaft qb, they likely wont have to trade up
  15. Gipson learning behind Mack and Quinn might be the best place for him
  16. Thanks for the jinx Raw
  17. yea, I thought about him when I posted about Adams, but Biadasz isn't very quick. I'm not sure I'd take him tbh, I think Adams is a better bet eta: nvm, Biadasz is gone
  18. This is basically the exact opposite of the Packers strategy. Ugh there's drafting for need and drafting best available, and GB seems to have a completely different strategy than either of those. not a single wr so far in a draft full of them
  19. If they go WR I'd really want it to be a burner type, plus points if they have return potential (Cohen and Patterson will both be FA next year) Who would that be? also, Brycen is off the board, but interestingly Fromm and Weaver are both still there, but I think I'd still grab Adams from Washington if it were up to the 3, a big run blocking tackle for the future
  20. As a "hater" I think the thing thats tough about him, as a fan, to get excited about is lack of anything that really stands out. Like he doesn't appear to have tons of weaknesses, but also nothing that goes wow. his size doenst stand out? Hes the same size as Gronkowski
  21. I dont get the hate towards Kmet. I may be higher on him then I should be, but he was far from a reach at 43, and like others have pointed out, we have no bona fide #1 at the pos
  22. Its a reasonable gamble to think this season wont matter, virus be damned
  23. It sounds like Johnson was an appropriate talent level pick https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.fanduel.com/theduel/amp/posts/jaylon-johnson-nfl-draft-expert-predictions-heading-into-day-2-01e6pat0yhqa
  24. Going 1st or IN THE 1st? I think you know the answer to that. The way you wrote it, he’s like Dion Sanders, with an injury. I mean, I’d horsefeathering love the value in that but I haven’t heard anything about him.
