  1. With that being said, if the Brewers or Cubs for you guys ever clinched a world series on the road. I would not be that upset.
  2. I also like it a lot better when the team that wins clinches at home.
  3. It seems like that was going to be the case regardless based on what happened on Sunday and Monday when it was up against the NFL. If there is a game 7 for the NLCS, will it be Sunday Night? Head to head with Minnesota vs. Green Bay? Because that will not be good for MLB.
  4. The ratings for the WS are going to be terrible.
  5. Couldn't you make a 7 day DL where only position players are eligible? So you don't have to deal with a short bench? Or is that a terrible idea?
  6. Well that's not an overreaction or anything. Anyways, just read that Favre is 8-0 in his career against Dom Capers defenses. And you were worried. The Packers will still win, just thought I'd point that out. Cook is still iffy so Jennings should be running wide open all day. I don't know, I'm not seeing it. Our offense has looked really average this season because, like the first half of last year, we're straying away from what this offense does best -- getting the ball to the WR's and having them create plays. We're seeing way too many long dropbacks from Rodgers and we're shooting ourselves in the foot because half the time, he's still running for his life due to a bad line. On the bright side, Matthews and Pickett should be ready and we'll find out whether or not Harris and/or Bigby get activated sometime tomorrow. If the Vikes give the ball to Peterson 25 times, I don't see how we're going to win the game. Your offensive line should continue to own our defensive line, especially later in the game. Having no defensive line depth absolutely sucks. Yeah I am worried/excited about this game but more worried. I am thinking Harris plays and Bigby doesn't. And I would guess Anthony Smith starts at S. Which means Woodson will cover Harvin in the slot, Tramon will be on Moss and Harris will be on Berrian. Chillar should return and will cover Shaincoe. Getting Clay and Pickett back will be huge, especially without Mike Neal being active again. (He needs to be healthy, he could be a beast). If we can get pressure on Favre for the first time ever, the Packers do have a chance at winning. However I don't have a good feeling about this and I am worried about Peterson. Vikings by 3.
  7. Probably something like that.
  8. First time I actually sat down to watch Oregon play. Wow. They are fast and impressive. Casey Matthews looks exactly like his brother with pads on. I am not a great draft mind but does anyone know where he is projected to go? Round wise?
  9. This has been said before but good NFL kickers and punters have the greatest life EVER.
  10. GIF wanted of that Yankee fan ASAP
  11. That Yankee fan was hilarious.
  12. God that is awesome.
  13. Thank God http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000d5d81b7406a/article/sacks-leader-matthews-expected-to-return-sunday-for-packers
  14. The next time I hear someone call Miles Austin "Austin Miles". My head might explode.
  15. Yeah its been pretty surprising. Branch of all people catches 9 balls in one of the best games so far this year to knock off one of the best teams in the league in Baltimore on Sunday. I have always been on the NFC bandwagon but man if your in the AFC good luck making the playoffs. Jets, Ravens, Steelers, Colts and Patriots. Geez.
  16. I am not trying to hate on anyone's fav team but that late game schedule looks brutal.
  17. I agree - but not for the reason you have. This is the ideal time to preserve CJ and give Ringer carries. :banghead: It was garbage time, but it was beautiful. :D And just like that, my team goes from the lowest scoring in the league to the highest scoring (i.e. it was a really tight week). Haha sucks to be the guy you lost to. That TD had to of cost a lot of teams a win. God bless fantasy football.
  18. Sunday Oct. 24th EARLY GAMES Cincinnati (2-3) @ Atlanta (4-2) Buffalo (0-6) @ Baltimore (4-2) Cleveland (1-5) @ New Orleans (4-2) San Francisco (1-5) @ Carolina (0-6) Philadelphia (4-2) @ Tennessee (4-2) St. Louis (3-3) @ Tampa Bay (3-2) Washington (3-3) @ Chicago (4-2) Jacksonville (3-3) @ Kansas City (3-2) Pittsburgh (5-1) @ Miami (3-2) LATE GAMES Arizona (3-2) @ Seattle (3-2) New England (4-1) @ San Diego (2-4) Oakland (2-4) @ Denver (2-4) Sunday Night Football Minnesota (2-4) @ Green Bay (3-3) Monday Night Football (Oct. 25th) New York Giants (4-2) @ Dallas (1-4) Byes: Detroit (1-5), Houston (4-2), Indianapolis (4-2), New York Jets (5-1) TV MAPS http://the506.com/sports/?p=458

  20. Take Chris Johnson out please. (Playing him in fantasy)
  21. The only real problem I have with Rodgers is how bad he panics when he gets pressured. (Which somewhat is understandable with how many times he gets hit). But every once in awhile he will hold the ball way to long or literally dance his way into sack. But I do love the guy. Only current Packer jersey I own. Onto the Division talk. I can see why everyone would be taking the Vikings if they beat us this Sunday and I would agree. The Vikings secondary has actually been pretty solid this year. Chris Cook a rookie they drafted will return and probably jump right into the starter spot and move Asher Allen to the nickle, but more importantly move Sheppard off the field who has been terrible this year. I still question the safety play but if their front 4 can wake up (aka Jared Allen) I really would feel good if I were a Viking fan. Favre has really really struggled this year and as you guys mentioned is a big reason why they are struggling. That and the fact the O-Line has given him zero time to throw the ball. It amazes me that 3 teams in the same division all have terrible lines and can't protect the QB.
  22. Bad news for Big 10 schools from earlier today. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=5696038
  23. Oh and the Packers traded for S Anthony Smith, yes the same guy we released last pre season. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2010/10/17/AR2010101703856.html
