  2. Definitely not. 5 outs away from the World Series is as bad as it gets.
  3. This crowd is delusional. We're still down 5.
  4. Good...Theriot back where he belongs. We need a first inning where we get at least a run, maybe more.
  5. I have the batting practice hat on. My home Soriano jersey, with a Cubs blue undershirt on. Then I'm wearing Cubs pajama pants. Finally, I'm sporting the Believe bracelet.
  6. I hope we win, and win huge. Let's bust out runs left and right and send a message to the Dodgers. I'm sick of the media practically advancing the Dodgers already. We need to remember who we are, and what we did on 97 days in this long six month season. We need to get pumped up, and be excited that we're in the playoffs. Don't think, "oh...if we lose tonight". Enjoy these next three and a half hours or so and just relax. Come 8:30, it's go time. GO CUBS!
  7. Saying we have to win 3 out of the next 4 makes it sound impossible. We just have to look at one game at a time. Win tomorrow, and we're tied with Rich Harden pitching Game 3.

Billingsley was 0-1 against the Cubs this year, and allowed six runs in 11 innings of work. Carlos Zambrano threw a no-hitter on September 14th, and has looked awful since. If there's any time to bust out of a slump, it's now. Let's get this game and show them who the real Cubs are. GO CUBS!
