    I'm fascinated by Penn State's ability to recruit some of the elite young talent. Their ice hockey was a club sport for decades, so has a far shorter history as a viable varsity team. What's their selling point? "We don't care how long you stay, just show up for a year or two before going to the NHL"? There's some secret sauce happening here.

    I think had you polled Cubs fans (even if just on this board) last September and said "create a reasonable trade proposal for Kyle Tucker", NONE of them would have been "starting 3B, mid pitcher, plus one top prospect". It would have been "OMG Caissie and PCA and Wiggins and Horton and...."

    I feel like fans fall into two camps: 1. Make up trade offers that send fringe bench players/prospects for a star or 2. Make up trade offers where it takes all 10 of your top 10 prospects to get a MOR pitcher for a rental
