Within 1-2 years they will be selling kids on returning PSU to glory. They will struggle with depth over the next few years due to the scholarship crunch but they will still keep getting top tier talent. NFL scouts will still watch, they'll still be on national TV, and if the current coaching staff stays they have NFL guys to coach up the players. Athletes from Texas, Florida, California and the delta born in 1997-2000 most likely wont have an appreciation for returning PSU to glory when O'Brien is working on his 2014-2016 hauls. Unless Obrien can work miracles Penn State is going to be pretty bad for the next 3 years. Texas, Florida, California? Have you ever looked at a Penn State roster? I count 3 players total from those states (2 from CA, 1 from TX) 95% of that roster is PA/NJ/MD/OH/MI

Is that the kid that was previously committed to Clemson? Correct, Robert Nkemdiche. His brother Denzel, a RS Freshman safety/linebacker, is quickly becoming an All-SEC type defensive stud. Their mother is in the Nigerian Congress and has made it very, very obvious that she doesn't want to fly home and have to split games between her sons. Robert has been to like 7 Ole Miss games and since his decommit from Clemson is considered by most writers to be a silent verbal to the Rebels. So what's going to happen to his 6 high school buddies that he made Clemson offer scholarships to?

Only amazing bc they lost to Ohio and UVA. Big x is pathetic this year. Correct, they shouldn't have lost to either of those teams. But they then won 5 straight. I only say "amazing" because everyone was predicting they'd be 2-10 every year for a decade Is Northwestern good? Their Big Ten schedule has been pretty weak (no UM or MSU), but the only two conference losses are vs. OSU and @ Nebraska. I don't think it's that stupid. If you're used to managing a 54 man roster, you're probably less likely to freak out about not being able to have 3 full-scholarship punters on your team.

PSU with a chance for 8 wins. Kind of amazing Heard one analyst say that O'Brien won't be as negatively affects by scholarship losses as other coaches as he's used to a smaller roster size in the NFL. Not sure if I bye it, but its a interesting theory
