  1. maybe because a decimiated Bears team is still better than a dumpster fire Vikings team?
  2. Just looked at the NFL maps for Columbus today. Jacksonville @ Cleveland Cincy @ San Diego (when literally everywhere BUT Ohio and San Diego gets Chiefs vs. Denver) St. Louis @ San Fran (Late) AWESOME
  3. How was Wisconsin 9-2 with Stave at QB? That guy is a dumpster fire
  4. http://files.sharenator.com/Stanley_nod_RE_Discrimination_of_Men-s275x155-95928.gif
  5. It's pretty well known at this point that the non-semifinal major bowls are going to more or less operate this way. There will still be tie-ins, but the committee will place the qualifying teams into what should be attractive matchups. So we'll have that going for us at least. So no more Big 10 vs. Pac 12 in the Rose Bowl?
  6. yep. pre-playoff, the best system would have been 1 vs. 2, 3 vs. 4, 5 vs. 6, and so on. But nope, "tradition" ruins everything (as usual)
  7. the conference disparity grows. The Western Conference's current #8 seed (Phoenix) would be the #2 seed in the East
  8. bowl tie-ins suck balls proceed
  9. Aramis Ramirez (from the "no names" year) #32 Penn State home jersey Generic Pittsburgh Penguins home jersey White and Red Columbus Clippers jerseys (won both at silent auctions) My mom made me a Robin Yount shir-sey for my 7th birthday.
  10. #prey4nee
  11. Wisky by infinity
  12. There are only three good divisions this year. so much mediocrity
  13. Am I supposed to believe that Mike Trout is "worth" $50 million/year by himself? At what point do the laws of diminishing returns apply to baseball contracts?
  14. What has the rate of inflation been for WAR over the past five seasons? Seems like it's been insane. $7 million for a win? Christ
  15. Then the economics of the game have truly gotten out of control. There is about a 0% chance that contract is worth it
  16. Crazy money for Peralta. Makes no sense on any level
  17. 0 chance he wins the heisman with this going on. people are not going to want to risk picking a guy who could later be in prison for rape. if it comes down to it, mccarron will win. Yeah, he's a shoe-in with the way Mariota and Manziel have struggled. Manziel has struggled? He has a higher completion %, more YPA, more TD, fewer sacks, and unless he just doesn't throw the ball next week, will have more passing yards than his Heisman season. The only thing that's worse are 4 more INT's
  18. yeah, i was just wondering what name he used to go by. He's the worst aspects of Sulley, cubbyvirus and Wilson all rolled into one
  19. It's true, if Loul Deng shoots 3 for 18 every night, this team isn't making it past the 2nd round. Astute observation
  20. ONLY MY TEAMS!!! (Am I doing that right?)
  21. What if you add PSU's 112 victories back in?
  22. I've become so acclimated to deals being "Vet for Prospects" that something like this seeming so easy is surprising
  23. I've never seen a team look more overmatched than Columbus against Edmonton tonight. It's embarrassing. I was hoping they could tread water until Gaborik/Horton come back, but they may be dead and buried by then
  24. She kinda has crazy eyes. Speaking of that TV job, Oprah has the largest head I've ever seen. Scientists in 1000 years will study her remains trying to figure out who this mutant was
  25. More proof that little kids are actually drunks
