    I have enough trouble staying interested in the Olympics, but any time the time zone difference is too large, it's a pointless endevour. All the main games/competitions will be shown in prime time, whilenallnthenresukts will have been spoiled earlier in the day. There's a fighting chance this year with Rio only being one hour ahead of the Eastern time zone. But China? Forget it

    I know we joke about robot umps all the time, but isn't a home plate umpire's job something that tech like Google Glass makes a ton of sense for? Have a league defined strike zone superimposed via VR into the ump's line of sight for easier and more consistent calls?
