    We are reconsidering our plans right now. For one, the game 1 loss means that there's no chance of a clinch on Saturday (the only day we'll be there), so there's no NEED to join the mob in Wrigleyville. Now with restaurants all over jacking up prices, we're wondering if its worth it at all. Plans pending....

    Agreed re: interleague play. They also need to do away with player stats "resetting" when they're traded between leagues midseason.

    It makes me sleep better knowing that I have all my hair and less grey beard than old man Rossy I actually am looking forward to the touch of gray/salt and pepper look in my hair/beard. poor man's george clooney comp likely I have a little, mostly higher up (in line with my ears). My gray hairs are limited to the sides of my head. I've just been very lucky to reach 41 with zero signs of balding.

    From 20-all the teams recieving votes, I really can't say Penn St is worse than any of them. But the only one I feel confident saying they ate better than is SMU. 5-2, beat a top 5 team. Ranking seems justified They'll probably end the season ranked. Their last five games are Purdue, Iowa, Rutgers, Indiana and Sparty. At least two more wins, maybe four. We'll see

    Are the Wrigleyville bars/restaurants doing anything to prevent people from camping tables all day long? I can't imagine it would be in their best interests to have the same group occupying a table for several hours leading up to the game. I would give them a hard time limit of how long they can go without buying something

    People who wear headphones and listen to the radio at live sporting events are sad and lonely creatures

    We are now trying to figure out our best option for Saturday night. Being by the stadium would be awesome, but all but guarantees that we won't see any of the game. Seeing the game together would also be cool, but then where do we do that?

    I wish they would set up speakers around the stadium and just blast the Pat and Ron radio feed.
