    Yep. I don’t understand the enthusiasm behind trading him when the return is sure to be underwhelming. Nobody seems enthusiastic about it, it’s been a rumor so it’s been discussed what would be an acceptable return but nobody seems to be saying it should and needs to be done. How do you know it will be underwhelming? There is enthusiasm for it in other corners of the internet. And I don’t know that it will be underwhelming, but I’m personally not excited about trading him for lottery tickets.

    Yeah, Brett's having a mini meltdown on Twitter over this and I don't get it. Bundy when he threw 95 had promise and untapped potential. Bundy now that he throws 91-92 is just a dude. If we ended up with him I would have been fine with it, but he's not very different from other mediocre options like Julio Teheran or Gio Gonzalez. That's a guy you settle for in January not one you proactively acquire the first week of December. Brett also has a hard-on for Billy Hamilton, so his player evaluation leaves something to be desired

    He won't be missed. Putting aside the fact that he's an awful human being, he put up just 6.6 fWAR in 4 seasons, 3.8 of which was in 2018. He just wasn't very good

Nah, just having trouble getting excited about other teams' cast offs. If you're excited about an off season that may include trading our star third baseman and signing some reclamation projects, go nuts
