Belichick seems like a guy who wants to prove he’s the reason for NE’s success more so than Brady. Maybe, especially since his pre-Brady coaching profile is not particularly impressive. That said, his legacy will forever be tied to Brady, and he runs the risk of proving that he CAN'T do it without Brady

Convincing the Sugar to move off NYD in years it's not a semifinal so the semis can always be on NYD would qualify as massive. I'd root for that, personally. Rose Bowl as well, no?

They have TE talent, and they’ve invested in the pos the past few years. O-line too via draft picks 57 total targets for TE's this season. So....fire the TE coach...for reasons? Seems like a token firing

Eh. Same talent on the OL as last year. Two probowlers in 2018 and a promising young player. Every single player on the OL played much worse this year. Also, Helfrich and Hiestand were "in charge" of the run game. They did nothing to improve an already mediocre run game. Don't understand complaining about this. You rather they bring everyone back and act like everything was fine? Bring them back? Nah. But these feel like "we need to fire somebody but not the people we need to" firings

So the Bears announced the position coach firings AFTER the press conference was over? Wow, brave And so glad that they fired an Offensive Coordinator who doesn't call plays, a TE coach with no TE's, and an O-Line coach with an embarrassing assemblage of talent
