  1. Thank you, Seattle
  2. We also don't need 200 posts a day from Tom, live-posting his every thought on every player in the league every 2 minutes, but here we are
  3. You are one weird dude
  4. He won't be missed. Putting aside the fact that he's an awful human being, he put up just 6.6 fWAR in 4 seasons, 3.8 of which was in 2018. He just wasn't very good
  5. Can you go like a day without this unique brand of insufferable hot takery, or is “post through it” on your family crest or something He can’t. He’s miserable. Nah, just having trouble getting excited about other teams' cast offs. If you're excited about an off season that may include trading our star third baseman and signing some reclamation projects, go nuts
  6. The fact that you are all drooling over kitchen scraps means the Ricketts are winning
  7. It’s a tough hill to climb to get into the playoffs. The Bears could almost sleepwalk into an AFC wildcard spot, but a 2 1/2 game deficit to Minny with 4 to play is almost too much.
  8. Some really good games this year. I'm rooting for Ohio State over Wisconsin (puke) because it increases Penn State's odds of getting a Rose Bowl invite
  9. There's a sizable contingent of PSU fans who want to see James Franklin go away, and its the same stupid mindset as Michigan fans. Franklin was been pulling top 15 recruiting classes every year and winning 9 or 10 games a season. Who do people think is coming to Penn State who would be better than Franklin? So stupid
  10. Alabama now out. Best chance for a Big XII or Pac 12 team to get in now is for LSU to beat Georgia in the SEC title game. If Georgia wins, it'll be two SEC teams (again)
  11. Don't feel bad, no one is beating Ohio State this year. Easily the best team they've had in the 12 years I've lived here.
  12. 3rd string QB tearing us up, cool cool cool
  13. Its amazing how quickly opposing team's DC's can adjust to this offense
  14. So much for Penn State staying undefeated. They just choked on the chicken bone in the final minute
  15. I'm in the same boat. I usually don't have much to root for with my two teams (DePaul [alma mater] and Penn State [hometown team]). Both are undefeated early, which is fun while it lasts. At least Penn State has made some deep runs (and won) in the NIT, while DePaul has just been poop
  16. NFL owners and their insistence on paying young QBs huge extensions before they have to continues to confound me. See also: Carson Wentz
  17. He doesn't read any posts This is either the absolute height of irony, or the ultimate case of takes one to know one Why not both?
  18. If Harbaugh had even a single win against Ohio State, the heat would be way less than it is now.
  19. I mean, there's like 3 active coaches who have won a championship this century, not named Belichick. 1 championship season is an accomplishment in the Patriots dynasty era. I'd be pretty happy with a coach that won a Super Bowl in one of his first 3 years as coach. As would we all. I'm not taking that away from Pederson. I'm just waiting to see if he gets the Eagles back on track, or if it's going to be 9-7 seasons from here on out
  20. Yes, the one with 2 1/2 completely mediocre seasons and one championship season
  21. I'll give you Rivera, though the Panthers have been all over the place, record-wise (3 winning seasons and 6 losing seasons) Pederson did win a Super Bowl, and has gone 14-13 since. I'd say the jury is still out
  22. I said it last week (or maybe earlier in this thread), but the Andy Reid coaching tree has, by and large, been comprised of a bunch of failures. Or, perhaps, are littered with good coordinators, most of whom have no business being head coaches Good: John Harbaugh Jury is still out: Doug Pederson Sean MacDermott MEH: Ron Rivera Matt Nagy OOF: Brad Childress Steve Spagnuolo Leslie Frazier Pat Shurmur Todd Bowles
  23. This team cannot stop stepping on their own dicks.
  24. Throws looking better this drive, but he is getting his WR's killed
