I was going to mention something about them. The color guy was the only thing that made the pbp guy seem decent. They just quietly rambled about uninteresting nonsense the entire broadcast. I was stuck with the Tigers broadcast (they may have been the FS1 broadcast, too), and my God the most sinfully boring broadcast of all time. Monotone voices, no fun whatsoever. These guys know this is a game right? Yeah, FS1 had the Tigers guys. Jack Morris does color, and someone genuinely unqualified to be on TV does play by play

I think that the umps are more affected by the empty stadiums than the players are. Half of these umps get off on fan reactions

OMC is weirdly conflating "frequent testing" with "safe". Sure, the players might know more quickly if they are positive, but if your starting LB is tested four times a week and on the fourth test is positive, that means that he has very likely already spread the virus to many of his teammates. So sure, now you know he's sick, but that hasn't made his teammates any safer
