    Feels like we're reaching an inflection point with the bowl system. Many predicted that the playoff would devalue the other bowl games, and we're now seeing that accelerate (three bowl eligible teams saying "nah" in one day). Add to that the number of players who opt out of playing to stay healthy for the draft, and it feels like the "40 bowls a year" system will collapse under its own weight.
