    If we could trade Lee, Tex is a FA. Yeah, that was the only one I could think of. Of course, I wanted the Cubs to draft him in the first place. There's always Jason Giambi. And here I refrained from saying it!! :lol:

    7 times in a best of 5 a team that was down 0-2 came back to win the series. 7... out of how many? I believe 34 or 35 times team have been down 0-2 in th ebest of 5. The first team to come back from it was the '82 Brewers.

    How are you enjoying your first October off in awhile? :wink: I will survive, LOL. There are some good series to watch here. Plus if it means lowering payroll and pairing off dead weight, I am all for missing the playoffs a year or two! Its all good, after Lohses contract, the Yankees are the only team who will be able to afford anything in the off season. Actually, I hope CC stays in the NL and goes West. If Boras continues to price Tex into the stratosphere, I doubt the Yankees bite. I think AJ may be the one guy they get. I am actually hoping for Garland and looking at some trade opportunities!

    Jim Rome? That you? They were also facing a pitcher who was dominant out of the pen this year, a high draft pick a few years ago, plays in Seattle and wasn't named Joba. So I guess I understand how it didn't translate for the East Coast :-" :wink: I am not saying Morrow is a good pitcher, I was commenting on the entire season. I wondered why Morrow wasn't starting long ago. The season has been lost for Seattle for quite some time. And yes, that was my Jim Rome impression.

    Soto was too far away from the base. He will learn to let the ball come to him and do a better job blocking the plate. UNLESS he turns into Jorge Posada, LMAO!

    No, the only real deal they are looking at is the Washburn deal. Seattle has lost their mind on that though. Right now the Yankees really don't have anywhere to play him. I can see them bidding if he reaches FA and Giambi goes. But right now I am not sure that even then they will go as high as Boras wants, of course he will use them to bump everyone else's offers. To be honest I see Giambi coming back for another season.

    Yeah, all I have seen says the D-Backs want to give Tracy +. I really can't see then going as high as Jackson.
